Applicants shall be normal trichromates.

 

AMC1 ATCO.MED.B.075 Colour vision

1. Pseudoisochromatic plate testing alone is not sufficient.
2. Colour vision should be assessed using means to demonstrate normal trichromacy.

 

GM1 ATCO.MED.B.075 Colour vision

The means to demonstrate normal trichromacy include:

1. anomaloscopy (Nagel or equivalent). This test is considered passed if the colour match is trichromatic and the matching range is four scale units or less;
2. Colour Assessment and Diagnosis (CAD) test.
